Commissions? Should I do them?

Hey everyone.

So I'm really considering doing commissions, and if possible, I'd like to start as soon as possible.

I'm thinking about simple $5-7 sketch commissions to start of easy first. When I say sketch, I mean fairly elaborate with a generally nice amount of simple shading. Would any of you be interested if I started offering these? I'd like to earn some money to buy my friend a nice birthday present this month, and I'd like to pay for it with my own money as opposed to taking it off my mom. Plus, I think it would be good practice for me, since drawing for myself gets monotonous and I begin to run out of ideas.

Does anyone know what company/site provides account so you can pay me money? I don't want to do this through deviantArt, because I'm not expecting to sell prints. I'd like something, like paypal, where people could pay with. Would paypal work?

What do you guys know about this stuff? Anything would be appreciated
